BACKGROUND

To create a common platform for ex-Badhan activist, Badhan foundation was formed in 2006. But with many difficulties it was not active. Then in 2014 Badhan Foundation executive committee arranged an Iftar Mahfil and decided to re-initiate it's activities. Then in 2015 full committee of Badhan Foundation was announced. From then Badhan Foundation is working for a better society.

MISSION & VISION

Badhan Foundation is a non profit, social welfare, non political and charitable privet organization to serve the distressed people. Badhan Foundation is bound to achieved these missions and visions.

1. Primary Medical Aid for poor and rural people, Mother and child care, vaccination, i.e. nutrition, health training, hospital establishment, charitable clinic establishment, free medicine donation to the people and provide training for the nurses through our projects.

2. Special Program for the Physically and mentally disabled people.

3. Awareness program about AIDS and Sexual diseases.

4. Free Implementation program on First aid, Health education, sanitation, prevention of diarrhoea, EPI.

5. Creation of a network of the activists and well wishers of voluntary blood donors' movement, Badhan, and organize them towards a great communication platform.

6. Collects financial and non financial help from the activists and well wishers of voluntary blood donors' movement, i.e. BADHAN.

7. Motivates the youth of the country to voluntary blood donation.

8. Provides Health Support to the poor community of the country.

9. Establish Schools, colleges and universities to enhance the standard of education.

10. Preordained program for the poor and people during any natural and man made calamity.

11. Provides training to the youth to remove unemployment.

12. Establish libraries to create habit of reading among the people to make them conscious.

13. Introduction of necessary projects according to the people and society.

14. Create awareness among the people about social welfare activities of Badhan Foundation and other organizations.

MODE OF OPERATION

Badhan Foundation is an organization of volunteers in Bangladesh, it is a non political and non profit organization which treats all human beings equally and help them without considering their race, caste, religion, social status, and region.

Badhan Foundation operates its all task under the leadership of an executive committee which consists of 15 members, the chief of the committee and the foundation is chairman. The Executive Committee has a tenure of 2 years.

The member of the Executive Committee of the foundation are elected democratically by an independent Election Commission which is headed by Chief Election Commissioner.

The members of Executive Committee are responsible to the constitution of the foundation. The projects of the foundation or any other decision regarding the foundation's operation must be taken in an executive meeting of the foundation with the consent of its majority members. The Chairman and The Secretary General can take emergency decisions but the decisions must be approved by the Executive Committee in the immediate next meeting of the Executive Committee.
